Our home church, Grace Baptist in Middletown, Ohio, held their annual missions conference this week. We were able to be in attendance Tuesday and Wednesday night and hear about what God is doing in the lives of the five families there and the places He is sending them to. Church planting missionaries to Slovenia, the Grasty family, were at the conference. Slovenia borders Hungary to the west, so was neat to see this family going to the same area as us.
A great message was preached by Victor Carpio last night in John 17:23: "I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me." That the world may know. This is what missions is all about.
