"For God so loved the WORLD..." John 3:16
This past week, our family had the privilege to be at Cornerstone Baptist Temple in Dayton, Ohio for their Missions Conference. The theme was "7 Billion Reasons Across the Street, Around the World." It was a great reminder to all of the great responsibility we have to reach the world.
The missionary displays were breathtaking, from a Venezuela waterfall to an Italian gondola. The display for Hungary was of the Fisherman's Bastion in Budapest on the Buda side of the Danube River in the castle district. It was made by the first grade teacher at Temple Christian School. She did an awesome job! The displays were used for the missionary presentations each day and then for an international dinner:
The Sunday School rooms were also decorated with missions in mind:
On Sunday, the children dressed up in costumes from different countries:
We are so thankful to Cornerstone for being a blessing to us during the conference and for being a light across the street and around the world!
